My family in this case includes me, a brother, a sister, and a brother-in-law. Sister and husband left today, brother and I leave tomorrow morning.
How to enjoy Spring Break with my family
It made me
aware of nature 
"A good break, good connecting with family."
How I did it: When my sister asked if I wanted to go to the Kruger Park with them I checked my diary and said yes. Then I arranged to be away from the office and tidied everything up. I took part in arrangements for the trip, and packed for five days away the night before.In cases where indecision threatened to disrupt the flow of things, I took executive decisions. In general I made an effort to keep things going smoothly.
Lessons & tips:
- Book long in advance.
- Take a camera and binoculars.
- Stop if you see something interesting.
- Sitting in a car all day end up being strenuous. Get some exercise.

For ‘spring break’ (though we don’t call it that) we’re going to visit the Kruger National Park. We’re leaving on Wednesday morning.
I want to make it a good, enjoyable trip. It means doing it mindfully, and perhaps taking the lead.

we didn’t go to Florida this year much to the teens’ dismay, but we stayed in a cabin in the North Georgia mountains. Visited Cloudland Canyon (I’ll post pictures later – it was gorgeous), did a lot of hiking and some geocaching too.
We had a nice week :)
