smash my finger

Smashed the first joint of my left pinkie finger in a vehicle door (by accident) last summer when I was in Iraq. The damaged fingernail is still growing out almost eight months later.

One of my soldiers had broken the first joints of her two ring fingers early in our deployment and had to go back to the U.S. for over three months for surgery and rehab. So it was a joke in my unit that I was trying to beak my finger so I’d “have” to go back to the U.S. :D

between a 20lb log and a cast iron wall. Yep, my ring finger on my right hand got schnookered today. I think that I’ll lose the nail and typing is slightly difficult with my l, o, and 9. It is even bruised underneath…
