to talk with several of my old friends who have gotten together in my hometown for Randy’s memorial service. I haven’t spoken with the twins in over 16 years and it was so nice to chat and joke with each other, just as we did back in the day. Essentially, we’re still the same people, just with many many stories and experience added into the mix. Despite being where I am, I felt like I was home when we talked. It felt so wonderful. However, I feel bad that I cannot be there, but they know I would if I could. And they all said that they have been talking about me. (All good things, I just know it) LOL My hometown is nothing like it used to be, but to see these people and be with them again will really be an experience I can look forward to. Most of us have decided to get together, informally, once a year during the summer so that we stay in better contact. I cannot think of a class from that town who feels the way about each other than we do. We have such chemistry. It’s amazing!
I am there in spirit and they know this. I hope the memorial service is special and meaningful.

with D in Wenatchee when I was there to catch a flight. If ever there was a time to strengthen a friendship – this is the time. In his recent divorce he’s lost almost everything. I can’t change his situation, but I can listen and support him the best I can. He has never left me hanging…

is always nice, but if that’s not possible because of distance then the next best thing is to invite them to 43 Things! Right, MochaMan?

have entered this under find the perfect beer. But my neighbour brought this over on Sunday and we had a fine time consuming it. Leave it to him to have the best beers in the world.
This is actually a Dutch brew and truly puts a Heineken beer to shame, BIG TIME.

with my neighbor, Jim. We did more beer sampling from their Zero Gravity brewery than food. But it was a good time and I’m always impressed with Jim’s beer connections in this area.

time with friends yesterday, but it looks like someone had a little too much fire water. I was consuming quite a few glasses of champagne, so it made my afternoon run quite interesting.

to give back as much as I have received from my friendships. I guess I’m at a point in my life when I treasure them more than ever and want to put more effort into what I’m lucky enough to have.

i did really strengthen my friendships.
but i’m starting to wonder if i seriously did.
because now after coming back from belize, i feel more broken than ever.
this one boy who i’ve liked for three years asked me out, and i said no. we’re too young, and i don’t want to ruin our friendship.
but now i feel like i kind of ruined it anyway.
