How I did it: After a rough breakup I decided to do the things I had been putting off. First was a scooter. I've had it for 6 months, and absolutely love it. Her name is Smurf and she is amazing.
Lessons & tips: Wear a helmet, practice on quiet streets, always be aware of what is going on around you.

after the end of the longest relationship of my life, i fell into a rut. i was lonely and depressed, and didn’t want to resort to moving to fix my problems (as i usually do). one day, on a whim, i started asking around town about scooters for sale. eventually i ran into a 2002 honda metropolitan, which i purchased. since then my life has improved exponentially. my scooter has given me the ability to go wherever i please, a new hobby to spend time on, an inexpensive mode of transportation… the list goes on. i could not recommend this enough! get a scooter, you’ll thank me later!!!

I bought my scooter and helmet today and also went to the DMV to get my special liscense. I wonderhow hard it is to ride it?

I am learning well!
I got my first official injury when I turned the throttle instead of the brake with my leg in the way! (I am female and blonde don’t forget!
Hopefully this week I will pass my proficiency test and be permitted to ride on the rodas!
