I had bubble tea @ this new place on Hillsborough Street. 16 months ago

I blogged about it at my moblog

But it was neat, I think I’m going to try a few more before giving my real opinon because this was my first try and there was an overwhelming amount of choices and they didn’t help me choose at all. That kind of sucks, but I understand why they wouldn’t.

I had a Green Tea base white chocolate flavor with boba. Because I figured go big or go home! haha

    I liked it a lot.

But I can just see the day when some kid sucks up a big ball of tapioca and gets it stuck in his throat, and then it’ll be banned in the U.S. We are protecting the fun out of everything.

(Excuse me, I’m just grumpy because I went to a park yesterday where there’s a perfect loop sidewalk for inline skating, but of course it’s prohibited. Either because of liability or because you can’t trust parents to teach their kids how to act…or both.)

My first one was plum. An amazing sensory experience. Fat straw, chewy black tapiocas… yum!
If you were the kind of kid that liked the skin on school custard you’d LOVE bubble tea.
