Now I`m not going to stand in the way of anyone who wants to have a good time, and it would be hypocritical of me to say that you won`t gain anything from the experience, because I did. Why not visit a temple every week for a year and get your fortune told on a piece of paper (omikuji) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Omikuji. Much more fun, trying to decifer the meaning of the archaic kanji, and probably better for you on so many levels.
