I found the Chaucer’s Mead to be better than the previous bottle but even so I probably won’t be rushing out to buy another bottle anytime soon nor will I pursue making my own. Mead is interesting but tea tastes a lot better, but I am glad to have tried it. Still if you want to try mead sometime I recommend taking it out of the refrigerator and letting it warm up a bit but not too much as it tastes better slightly cool than chilled.
How to drink mead
How I did it: Very carefully. Well, actually, not very carefully at all. There's not much to it really. Open mouth, tip head back, raise arm with glass... etc etc...

PurpleHeather is ecstatically happy that she has passed her ST2 exam !!!
I’m sure you expect no less from me.
As I write this I’m finishing off the last of the Redstone traditional honey wine mead. It was very different from the non-alcoholic mead that I made on my own as it was nothing like honey or sweetness and instead had a light taste of mainly alcohol. I’m guessing that the second bottle of Chaucer’s mead which is labeled as a desert wine will be more honey like but for the moment I plan on waiting a bit before opening up the second bottle.
Last weekend when I was out of state I was able to finally find mead for sale and picked up two bottles. I know this goal might seem a bit strange as its almost like somebody buying a case of beer and having a goal to drink it but I rarely drink so it might be some time before this goal gets finished even though I have the bottles right in front of me now.
