get more involved in politics

I have never before been interested in politics. Last election was the first time I ever voted. Of course I voted for the wrong guy! I want to educate myself on politics and who is who and what they stand for so that by next election I will make my decision by what I know of that person not just what I have heard about them. There is power in numbers and I want to be one who equals many.

I have no idea where to begin, I um, read the newspaper. I think the best option is to join a local group, but which one…how? This one will take some research.

I am so much more interested in politics now. Instead of flpping through the Presidential speeches I sit dow and watch them, and think about how I would change them.

The economy is going to pot. We are medalling in affairs with countries we need to be trying to patch things up with not piss off by shooting them. I think we all need to be concerned with decisions that are being made without our knowledge or consent.
