so as sketchy as this sounds, i took the plunge and went to a lesbian bar in dc alone a couple times in hopes of making some new lezzie friends. and wouldn’t ya know, it was only sketchy making the trip over there from where i live…and the rest was a shit ton of fun! i did indeed meet some cool cool girls, as well as get the low down on the scene in dc (which, apparently, is NOT at the bar i went to). i definitely made a special lady friend the last time i went…

oh, and even better than i expected – i ran into two of my les friends from college (they also graduated in may) on the street right by my apartment. turns out they’re moving to dc, and now that i have a better knowledge of the scene, i think we’ll have a blast exploring it together!!

i started meeting more people and takin steps out of my comfort zone that allowed me to hang out with people i probably wouldn’t have.. i met friends through friends and friends of friends and it’s cool. I only met a couple people I would wanna know for years as a good friend. But I rather have a few close GOOD friends than a thousand associates or people that i KNOW but don’t really have a good relationship with. So yeah… I met some lesbians, restablished a couple relationships with women i had lost touch with, and I am on my way to meeting more at this rate, but it’s time to make room for a new goal.

I met a few cool ladies this weekend. As usual they all live far away for the most part. They were only in the NYC area for pride weekend. I did meet an online friend who DOES live here though and she was really cool so I will probably hang out with her more often now.

well i didn’t meet any NEW lesbians yet but i made friends with my first girlfriend all over again and we had fun… hadn’t seen her in a couple years and we haven’t actually hung out for a couple years b4 that… so she will be one new hangout buddy.

i barely ever hang out and for the most part, the friends i do have are either guys or straight or exes or friends of exes… now that i want to hang out more, i need to make more lesbian friends in my area so i can have more options to hang out and have fun with people i can just be 100% me with. my guy friends are very cool but u cant drag a guy into a lesbian club or have as much fun talkin about hot girls with straight girls… and i also have some friends online who would be perfect to hang out with but are way too far away… so yeah… bring on the lesbians of NJ and NYC
