“water, please,” is one of the only few german words i got out of the experience, but going to austria was the best experience of my life. i suggest staying in the small town of spittal, which has the friendliest people and easy access to the alps as well as the cleanest lakes imaginable. vienna is four hours by train, salzburg 2 hours by bus. it’s a beautiful country and the people are so warm and welcoming. i can’t wait to go back!

I went to Graz, Austria (Original home of the Governator) for an a cappella contest in 2002 and it was amazing. The city is very friendly and exciting. I enjoyed meeting everyone and had a completely positive experience. If I could find a job there I would move in a second!
