My very outgoing cat just passed away this summer at age 15. I believe he was part Siamese, judging by his loudmouth, loving personality. I have always wanted a Siamese cat because they are talkative and they love people, much like dogs. I plan to adopt a traditional (applehead) Siamese whenever I get the opportunity.
I’ve wanted a siamese cat ever since I was a little girl. I had a book called “Zoe’s Cats” – in it was a siamese called Twiggy. She was a real cat that the author/illustrator owned, and she sounded like an utterly amazing pet. I’ve had loads of cats, but I still want to own a siamese :)
When I was 13 I had a Siamese cat that talked to me all day! He was hit by a car and we had to put him down.
20 so years later…..... We moved houses and one of our kitties ran away….. I was distraught! Hubby said he would replace the kitty. I think I just might get another Siamese!
I knew for a long time that I wanted a siamese cat. It all started with the “Cat Who…” book series. So I searched for a litter of siamese kittens in my area and went and picked one out. She cost $275 and was worth every penny. We have the same birthday and this year she will be five. I LOVE her but she can be really demanding. Also, siamese cats are very independent and won’t hesitate to “talk” to you for ten minutes straight and then ignore you.
