Get a Masters in Social Work

Halfway done!! One more year to go.

I finished my first semester. I have learned so much in the past four months, its amazing to me! I still have a long way to go though :)

I’m on my way! In 1 year and 7 months I will mark this goal as complete, if I stay on schedule! :)

To answer the question I’ve been asked for a couple of years now…yes, I will stop going to school. No, I’m not an aspiring professional student. After being out of college for 3 years now, I have finally decided what to do with my life. Nice considering it only took 2 degrees and 4 classes short of my first masters. However, I’m happy about this decision and the direction my life is heading. Having my gallbladder removed was a great thing. I figured out what I wanted to do with my life, figured out where furniture would go in my apartment when I rearrange it, and made peace with my present circumstances. All in all a pretty productive two week period of time in my life. Anyway…I am truly very, very excited to be going back to school in the fall to start on this program at the University of Kentucky. (wonder if this will give me a better shot at basketbal tickets????) I can’t wait to get through and actually get to do things to help people and hopefully make the lives of children who need help better. I’ll keep you posted on how things go. On a related note, the agency I work for has a position open that would allow me to start doing social work type stuff, so please say a prayer that this works out for me.

It is an education that will serve you well, no matter how you end up using it once you finish! Hard to believe that I graduated 8 years ago.
