woo hoo 2 weeks ago

Ok I can officially name and identify on a map all 195 countries! Don’t I have important stuff I could be getting done?!? lol

I think I have more to learn before I can feel satisfied that I’ve really kicked geography’s butt…maybe capitals next?

getting there 7 months ago

I can almost identify all the countries of the world. Random islands here and there are still giving me trouble!

After I get that done, I think I’ll move on to capitals/major cities and then maybe be able to identify everyone’s flag or something. I never knew I liked geography so much…sort of odd.

Another Resource 11 months ago

I noticed many people have goals related to the website http://freerice.com/

At that site, it has a quiz with various topics. One is world geography. Multiple choice questions, good for learning.

World of Where 21 months ago

I’ve got this computer program called World of Where. It’s pretty awesome. It asks you to identify where a country is on a map; you click in the area where you think it is, and it lets you know if you’re right or wrong. I can also use it to study physical maps. Pretty cool.

European Geography 2 years ago

I’ve mastered the countries, but I would really like to know all of the capitals—and maybe some geologic/topographic features. Especially for commonly referenced things like – “The Balkan Mountains” or “The Rhine River”.

Perfect Score 2 years ago

I just got a perfect score on my European Geography Quiz

It doesn’t quiz capitals, though, which is unfortunate.
