The last couple years I’ve been pretty good at achieving this goal. Last year I went to Corsica. The year before that Peru & Scotland.

This year the friend I was going to travel with in August (to go backpacking in Canada) got into a serious accident and so wont be healthy enough to go.

The problem is that its difficult to find compatible friends who can travel for as long as I’d like to go, when I want to go, or travel the way I like to travel.

So what to do… 2 years ago

I am happy to announce that I did indeed leave the country this year: Africa! It was phenomenal. I’m hoping to get out once more before the end of the year, but we’ll see… 2 years ago
