i won’t click on “give up” when they get rid of the shuttle. it doesn’t have to be a space shuttle, i’d be happy to see any sort of space vehicle launch.

I just haven’t made it yet. I will get schedule listings sent if that have that option for sign up. This would be so much fun and easy to accomplish.
Since I am living in Florida, would love to go and watch a shuttle launch in person.
but loud! Its a spectacular sight to see, and living in Florida it has become common place, but that first time you see it…...WOW.
It wasn’t really close, but we were about 10 miles away at a beaach in Coco Beach. It was SOOO cool! I grew up a few hours south of the Cape and got to see many many launches. It was just a bright light in the sky from our house but you could see everything from Coco Beach. I totally recommend it!!
Seeing the shuttle lift off was an amazing experience. We were standing in the ocean, by the pier near cocoa beach and watched it lift off.
it’s something I won’t ever forget.
I live about 35 miles from where the shuttles are launched and I have seen several launches from that far away. Ever since they started launching shuttles when I was kid, I have wanted to go and see one in person.
May be I can go and see the one they are supposed to launch in May of this year???? :)
