Getting the hang of healthy foods 4 months ago

Im doing well, this is my 5th day of no suger and low fats. I’ve actually been planning out my meals and having fruit or grains for a snack and eating more chicken and fish than red meat. I’m also only drinking water or milk and the occational glass of juice. If I stick with it and really make eating healthy foods a life habit then im sure I will be seeing results soon.

I was married in a size 2 dress two years ago. I weighed 105. I’m only 5’1 so thats not to tiny. Now I’m 155 6 months after having a baby (I got up to 185 pregnant), I dont expect to go back to 105 but I do want to loose about 40-45 pounds. I made a meal plan and im working on an excercise routine. My goal is 3 months to loose it all, My annivarsery is in october. Wish me luck and I’ll do my best.

I want to and need to loose a lot of weight. I have had a weight problem my entire life, Now I have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.
I pick 40 pounds because That is a good starting point.



No Lunch 8 months ago

This is not a good way to start off, but I missed lunch today, will probably have a lite dinner. I get headaches when I each too late.

Loose 40 Pounds 9 months ago

Well, I didn’t get this one off the ground. I’m not giving up though. I have found that I am most successful at getting a diet started and keeping up with it if I start in the spring. Winter is so blah and I tend to not want to get out and exercise and to sit in front of the computer and eat. So, I’m tabling this for the time being and plan to get started on April 1.

I have read some of the newer “diet” books and really I think I’m going with common sense. I’m going to eat mostly fruits, vegetables, and whole grains; stay away from bad fats and bad carbohydrates; watch portion size, and avoid processed foods. I think that is best since I want to achieve a lifestyle change.

Mat / Walk / Run 10 months ago

I just went out last night and bought an exercise mat that I plan to do abdominal exercise every other day. The other days, I plan to mall walk / run. So far I have walked almost 4 miles, tonight I am mall walking with a friend and will start the ab exercises tomorrow.

I cut my dinner portion in half the other night and was fine. I did notice my body requires less sleep when I exercise.

But here I am back again on 43things to update my goals. I’ve lost another 5-7 pounds and I’m very proud of myself for keeping the weight off. I may not have made my mini goal of doing it in a few months like I’d wanted but I did keep the weight off and now I’ve made it. So here’s to being 175 lbs now. Another five pounds to make my total of 40 lbs lost!

I am almost 21 years old, 155 pounds and about 5’5”. I know i am overweight, but i am in denial about it. To be honest, i have really let myself go. I am comfortable enough around my boyfriend that i eat anything and everything and i am a huge stress eater too. Seems like i eat to get full, not to enjoy it. I have been struggling with an eating disorder since i was in 9th grade. I try and stop eating for days at a time then binge. I’ve tried diet pills, detox drinks, going to the gym, drugs, ect. Seems like i liked my body the most when i was hyped up on drugs. I know i wasn’t healthy but i liked the feeling of emptiness and shedding numbers off my body.

I would love to be on a complete straight road with more energy, more endurance, more self confidence, and to loose 40 pounds. I have looked up every diet there is and i know if i starve myself ill feel deprived and start binge eating. i have these tough issues i want to ignore but its hard when you’ve struggled with it for so long.

My boyfriend is a huge gym junkie. I love that he’s motivated and fit but i hate that i have to stand next to him being a fat whale. i want to be the skinny fit girlfriend he deserves. And i know i’ve always wanted it for myself.

I am going to start this new diet and i know it will be very hard for me. It’s called the acai berry diet. I bought it from costco and im hoping it will work for me. i will start going tot he gym and running every morning. i want to make it happen once and for all. I want to do this for me and the ones around me. i know i will love myself when i love the person i see in the mirror. HERE WE GO!!

ok i ate a chocolate pudding yesterday evening.
so my total calories are: ~700kcal

that’s ok.
but i ate chocolate .. i love sweet stuff :D:D
i have to change this ^^

well, until now i’ve eaten a pretzel and 2 sandwiches with butter and cheese.

i think for dinner i will have some fruits ..
and that’s all for today :)

still weigh 68kg .. still too much .. my boyfriend started asking me what’s going on with my body, because i grew so much during the last months. i really did .. i’m so bored and i cannot find things i could do instead of sitting in front of the tv and eat when i come home from school. my parents work all day long and so i’m eating what i can find in our house .. horrible !!!

added: ok i had something for dinner .. 1 apple and 1 banana, and also some sweet stuff but not much :)
