It was a part of my Senior Trip, definitely worth it. Best 16 days of my life.

Edinburgh is my favorite city in the world. If you go try some of the walking tours on the Royal Mile, lots of interesting history. Also the bus tours that let you hop on and off are worth the money, you learn alot of quirky details about their history.

My cousin and her husband got to live in Inverness for six years and I never could afford to go see them. I love the pictures of the people there and because I have a family tartan, I would love to be able to go and see where I came from.
We went during the end of May, before the crowds, bugs and rain that Scotland is famous for arrived. I got sunburned! Stayed at a friend’s in Edinburgh, then hostels and one B&B.
While we both speak English (UK and US), we are worlds apart in culture. Initially I wasn’t crazy about going, but now, I would certainly consider another trip. Overall, a good time. Lots of fun.
I have always wanted to see Scotland. I think I have some ancestors from there and I would love to see the country they were from.
