Big Goal! 16 months ago

I want to make some major changes in my life. The first is to get over being sick all the time (the last 9 months of illness off and on) and really be healthy! I’ve signed up with a holistic doctor, a chiropractor, a massage parlor, and have been seeing my primary care doctor regularly in order to achieve this!

The second part of the plan is to take up yoga, tai chi, and anything else that will balance my mind and body. Then I’d like to work on getting over my body issues and bad eating habits.

I’m excited. This is probably the biggest goal in my life right now!

I’ve done really good in achieving this goal and am proud of myself. I’ve been doing a lot of cardio on the treadmill. I started off walking and now I am jogging, nonstop…yeah, it’s a big deal because I wasn’t able to do that before. I have also been going hiking with friends and walking with mom.
Have been following a raw food diet and between raw foods and working out, I’ve cured myself of IBS. Yay!!
Also started taking yoga classes…something I’ve always wanted to do but never really had the courage to get myself to do it, simply because I didn’t want to go by myself. In the past few month.
In the last year, I’ve challenged myself to get out of my comfort zone and experience things I’ve always wanted to but never had the courage to do it before and I am very pleased with how far I’ve come!!



A new start 2 years ago

Having failed miserably at this on previous attempts, I am starting over! New healthy eating regime starting today plus more exercise.

I WILL get fit this year!

I want to be aware of every single thing I put in my mouth
I want to decide whether I am eating because I need to or because I want to
I want to eat healthy foods and the occasional treat
I want to exercise every single day



A plan... 3 years ago

Having completed teh Race For Life today without too much difficulty, I’ve realised I’m not as unfit as I thought! However, there are a few things I need to do…

1. – Limit alcohol consumption to Friday and Saturday nights only

2. – Take a good walk at least twice a week

3. – Stop eating rubbish!

4. – do my Pilates video at least once a week

If I can do these things I think i will be on the way to achieving my goal.



Getting fit 4 years ago

This will be a bit difficult at the minute as I am pregnant, but once baby arrives I really want to get fit again. I am fed up of being out of breath!
