learn about photography

i’ve been learning a lot about photography from friends, magazines and from dad. there’s so much to learn. it is never ending.

got myself a dslr 3 weeks back. haven’t even gone through the manual.

got myself a lomo fisheye2 as well 2 months back. awaiting results now.

Buy a digital SLR and learn about cameras and photography

I have always wanted to do this so hopefully I can really begin this as a hobby someday.

I absolutely love art. I want to find something I can do. I haven’t tried anything since elementary school, and I want to see something I can call mine hanging in my home one day and be proud of it. And black and white photography has always interested me.

made my dad get out his old Nikon camera, which is one from the FE series and fortunately still has some film left in it, so I got to snap a couple shots :) clearly I needed some pointers, so my dad talked to me about aperture, shutter speed, ASA, focus, etc. I also found some pretty sweet sites online with good explanations, so I’m somewhat familiar with the basics. way excited to start taking more photos!

so on a whim with some birthday money i bought an expensive camera. and i still haven’t looked at the instructions yet. i want to get involved in photography but i’m afraid of not being brilliant right away. i’m always like that and its silly

And there’s always more to learn. I nearly defected from engineering school because of photography. If you have very intense feelings, it’s a good way to get it out there. Or for so many other reasons as well. Happy to answer many questions.

Buy a DSLR camera first and then take photo everything and everyone around me. So looking forward to this.
