Become fluent in Arabic

I’ve done a year of Arabic, but I will need a comprehensive revision, followed by uninterrupted commitment. I love this language, and I love life long learning.
I don’t expect to realistically apply myself to this for another year, but overall, I hope to have this done within 10 years.

I really have to do this one during my life time. I sure hope life takes me to an Arab country for a while so that I can do this. It’s the only way I know to learn a language properly. In sha’ Allah.

I want to be able to talk to my family easily! Their English is good, or at least better than my Arabic, it makes me feel like such a loser. At least they can communicate with me in my language, how come I can’t communicate with them in theirs?

It’s like being a 2-year-old again… This is one crazy hard language to learn and I keep getting picked on in class. I’ll get good at it one day…
