Well, it’s been a long time since I’ve even been on 43 things, and I’m pretty sure I haven’t complimented someone every day. But I’m glad I still have this as my top goal. It’s something pretty good to aspire to do in my opinion.
Except (on a completely different tangent), now I think I thought of some other wants that may just pass this one up.

I walked into an elevator today and a total stranger complimented me on my necklace. It gave me a little boost in my day…I find it so refreshing when I’m complimented by strangers. Compliments in general are really uplifting, especially when you don’t have that high of self-esteem. I was thinking about how much I appreciate compliments and I decided to compliment at least one person each day. Though I do give my fair share of compliments, I want to make a conscious effort to give one or two out to different people every day.

So far, I’ve managed to compliment one person each day. Although, today when I thought about this goal, I couldn’t immediately remember who I had complimented. That’s why I thought about documenting who I compliment. That way I can prove to myself that the compliment was worth remembering.

I will attempt to compliment someone new each day whom I haven’t complimented before, starting now. Which means I can compliment people who I have already complimented before. If I compliment two new people in one day, I can still compliment one of them again a later day and have it count. Whatcha think?
