volunteer at church

I’m wondering how your venture into the Children’s Ministry is going. I praise God that you have answered His call, one of many He shall lay on your heart. May He bless you with His peace and joy as you serve Him.

I signed up to volunteer in the Children’s Ministry. I had my orientation meeting and am waiting to be contacted.

Hopefully this is the firs tof many other ministry involvement.

I feel very blessed to belong to this church and given so much thru the teaching. Now it’s time for me to give something back.

i need to be more involved. it brings joy.

The church I attend has adopted a “target neighborhood.” The city I live in has the most amount of people living below the poverty line per capita in the United States. So, my church adopted a target neighborhood in a poverty stricken part of town. The church is planning on opening up a “goodwill” type store. The church also does many things with the schools in the neighborhood. Everytime I hear about it, I want to get involved. I feel that push inside of me to do something about it and donate some of my time and energy. I am not sure what’s holding me back. Honestly, I think it’s laziness. So I hope I can make the leap and get involved.

I had just begun to start getting involved at my church and volunteering when my husband and I decided that switching to a differant church was needed. We were not sure where God was calling us to so we visited a few that seemed right for us. God seems to be calling us now to a brand new church. It only has about 50 members so far. I am not sure this is where I want to be because of it being so small but I sure feel right now that God wants me there. The one this is for sure, they NEED volunteers so my hope, to start being more involved is welcome there.
