I am a male who has had hundreds of massages, all from women and 98% fully nude. Without clothing, sheets, towels, etc., the masseuse has a much easier time in following the body’s muscles. I have learned that a woman’s touch is quite magical being both powerful and stimulating. Sometimes I get into a certain mood and in the natural course of events an erection is showing. Its simply the reaction to some very fine input. It is a natural event and most masseuse’s appear to pay no attention to it at all.
I find it far more pleasureful to just let natural things happen rather than try to fight them. My current masseuse seemingly has named him and will say, “Oh, I see Mr. Happy is waking up!” or something like that to tease me. She is a great lady.
I hope each of you reading this can find your masseuse like mine. Once a week massage isn’t enough!

last yr I had a massage, yes I was nude, but I had a stupid sheet covering me which I didn’t like. it made me felt un relax during the whole massage. I’m not ashame of my body and I don’t want no one rubbing my private parts. you have a swedish massage and so i don’t mind being un drape the whole time being massage for example. 2 years ago

All my massages are in the nude. However, there is always a sheet or 2 over me. If the room is fairly cool, often a blanket. Only the parts of me that are being massaged are uncovered. 3 years ago

I’m not ashame of my body besides you would think being nude durring a massage would feel awesome. To me clothing restricts our muscles and it kind makes one feel tense even when there is a sheet that covers the clients body. Why not just be nude without anything covering up your body. Its not like you going to see that person again besides who cares.
oh and I am not gay or anything like that. But I do prefer females to massage me but not in my private area hands off! Women hands are more gentle.

I have training in massage (two community college courses and about 70 hours of supervised practice), but the main reason I studied massage was that I wanted to be able to offer massages to my partner, as a way of connecting.
With a romantic partner, there can be no objections to both massage provider and massage recipient being nude, if both people want it… and my girlfriend definitely does. She almost melts into the table, she enjoys it so much, and she said that the massages have enriched every part of our relationship. I also enjoy giving her massages, very much, so it’s definitely a win-win.
So even if you would feel uncomfortable receiving a massage in the nude from a massage therapist (like others said, most are fine with it as long as (a) the towel or sheet stays in place, and (b) nothing else is requested), consider taking some classes in massage (they won’t involve nudity) and then exploring massages as a part of your relationship with your partner(s). If you have a good physical relationship with her/him/them already, nude massage will feel great... in some ways, as good as or better than sex. I get a massage every week because of lymphedema from a mastectomy. I used to get massages every once in a while, now in my opinion everyone should budget for one at least once a month. They really are one of the healthiest things you can do for your body, and feeling good is just the icing on the cake. Of course, only do it nude, what’s the point of keeping on underwear? I always avoided getting massages (nude or otherwise) because I was worried that I would get an erection and be very embarrassed. I eventually tried a nude massage at a naturist swim club and just loved the massage, but I did spend a huge amount of mental energy trying very hard not to get erect at some point in the procedure. Eventually, I failed. She noticed my change of mood and the fact that I was very uncomfortable and asked what was wrong. I pointed out my erection. She hadn’t noticed. She had been massaging my neck. She said it wasn’t a problem and that lots of guys get hard during massage. As long as they don’t behave inappropriately it isn’t an issue. I now have regular massages from her and I greatly enjoy them. I don’t worry about erections. If I become hard (and if she notices!) she switches to massaging another area of my body and it just goes down again. I am SO glad I plucked up the courage to do this. 4 years ago
Have had this done a number of times. No big deal. I prefer getting a massage by a woman, as women have a nicer touch. Also, I don’t feel self conscious in front of other women. The one time I got a massage by a man, he tried to come onto me! For years I avoided massages (and saunas, steam rooms, spas etc) as I was too ashamed of my body to be naked in front of strangers.
I decided to face my fear recently by going to a spa where I was NAKED ALL DAY LONG!!! Talk about trial by fire! After the initial half hour of staring at the ceiling and trying to hide behind my towel I had a nude massage… WOW. Once you’ve done it you can’t believe you didn’t do it earlier.

Okay, so when I get chair massages at work, I don’t do more than loosen my tie. When I go to my massage therapist though, everything comes off. I slip under the sheet and let her know I’m ready. She’s very thorough and relieves all my tension. Get your mind out the gutter though because nothing’s ever come up while she’s been working on me. 5 years ago
