since I’ve moved to LA I haven’t done much dancing because I don’t know anyone who wants to go dancing. It is really hard to make friends here. But LA has great libraries and I have been able to get most of my favourite dance CDs and download them onto my computer prompting me to dance at home instead. It won’t be long before I am doing something crazy like dancing in the streets with the rest of the fruits and nuts…

I don’t even remember the names of the dance/exercise moves I was doing, but they sure were sexxxxxxxxy. Well, they were supposed to be, but I am a little (ahem) stiff.

I can’t wait to put them in and dance. Since I rarely go to clubs anymore, this is about the most dancing I’ll be doing for some time. Although I’d like to take a dance class someday (tango, samba, etc).

Anyways, these videos should beat the monotony of the treadmill or elliptical this winter. I’ll be dancing, dreaming of sultry nights in a warm climate, dancing outdoors under the stars. Perhaps on the beach…

I love to dance whether it be to live bands, music on the radio, or some song that happens to be stuck in my head. I am not a particularly good dancer, but that isn’t the point, really.

In 2009, I am going to dance more as a way of getting a bit more exercise, releasing those ever-lovin’ endorphins, and to balance my first two chakras (I so love that my chakras respond to dancing!)

I’ve always wanted to learn how to dance, but I’m too damn self conscious D: I might take a class, but it’s going to be weird to be at my age and taking a beginner’s class…
