I am dying to do this by myself on a Hayabusa (sport bike). I have the luxury of being able to do this basically at anytime of the year for up to a month. BUT, I do not have or would really really prefer not to hit rainfall. Does anyone know the best time, or a website or does anyone have absolutely any advice on this trip regarding weather. Obviously no one can predict the weather accurately every time, but when would be my best chance.

We (my husband and I) were going to ride across the country, two up on a suzuki boulevard S40. Mother Nature had other plans for us and we were defeated by a curtain of rain coming across the height of the USA. So we will try that again one day…
