my guitar teacher at school organized a band kinda thing i used to go last semester but i stoped going i kinda miss it i want to go back but im afriad im not good enough

i guess it’s all there in essence
i’ve been playing electric guitar for two years and i can safely say im of an adequate standard. but then again, i know i could be better.
i have several close friends who are musically talented, including my boyfriend. but the thing is, i’m scared to mention it in case they laugh at the prospect of me being in a band.
i love music. punk, rock, ska, indie. its my life.
but they might not think im good enough
i dont even know if i think i’m good enough…
