It’s just out of control, and whatever I’m doing is not working and all the drugs are just polluting my body. Sigh. I’ve started by getting the ball rolling on a new Rheumatologist, asking my doctor for a recommendation on a nutritional person, setting up a new member orientation at the gym (I get a free membership through work and haven’t gone in, ever), then I’ll sign up for the aqua aerobics. I will go back to weight watchers. I think that’s plenty for now.

I don’t know if it was arthritus I was feeling, but I can most definitely say that my toes and fingers have felt much better after starting the MTX. I’ll put this one on the done list just for the meantime. I hope i never have to pull it out again!

I just started my mtx a few weeks ago. I was starting to show signs of RA which my mother has, so they decided to start me on it. Thankfully, I haven’t had any nausea yet, but i start taking 6 pills this friday so who knows. wish me luck!

As of the end of january 2006, I am taking methotrexate for my RA. It’s got some side effects, mostly nausea, but it really has been a wonder drug! I can walk without pain first thing in the morning, and my wrists have basically stopped hurting, too. Thank you Dr. Crouch!

By the end of the year I would love to be off both Enbrel and MTX. This will require a major lifestyle change that I’m not sure I am prepared for. I have the year to do enough research to figure this out.

This was brought on by the Psoriasis. To put it bluntly…it sucks arse. I’m doing good so far in managing it with Enbrel.
