I have 3 classes at the college. It was difficult because since I’m dual credit I couldn’t sign up online and the lady I needed to sign me up doesn’t work on the weekend, but yesterday I signed up for 2 of my classes and today a third class (my sign language that I REALLY wanted to take) opened up so I was like yippie! And called right after I woke up. So I’m all set and all done on this goal, my class starts in an hour :)
How to sign up for classes
How I did it: Since I'm dual credit I needed this lady to sign me up, so I looked at all the classes online and picked a few I wanted, I had to change the classes I wanted a few times over the weekend because they were taken (the lady I needed doesn't work on weekends) but I just kept at it and come Monday I had the classes I wanted.
Lessons & tips: Sign up early!!!! No really do it, it sucks to have to pick through leftovers!

So, I decided to go to a local vo-tech school instead of the community college. So instead of being out of school in 3 years, with a certificate, it will take about 7 months. Plus, I will have already been working in the field for about a month and a half since they send us out to do a real job for a month (without pay) as our training towards the end. I really feel confident that I will be able to find a good job once I am done with my courses. 7 months away… Man. I am so excited! Bring on the books! I am ready.

All the bureaucracy BS is making me batty! I can’t even sign up for classes because my FAFSA is still going towards a school that I haven’t gone to in months! Even worse, I graduated in Dec with my BA from the other school and they are saying I haven’t graduated even though all their records say otherwise! They can’t figure it out and keep tossing me back and forth. Why do I think I could learn at a school that is full of incompetents?!
