I’ve been studying the Mike Meyers A+ certification guide, as well as competing in events with Business Professionals of America.
I’m on the last few chapters of one of Mike Meyers books. Man these things are looong. =)
I’ve been playing with the idea of becoming a white hat (certified ethical hacker) after I get my certification.
Perhaps…
I’m going to be taking this soon. I bought vouchers and have rescheduled once already. July 31st is my rescheduled date, but my vouchers are good until April of next year. I’m wanting to get it done and over, but at the same time I want to make sure I’m going to be certified. Otherwise it’s like throwing money away. I think it will be a good thing and I’m looking forward to getting it over with so that I can move on to the Network + certification.

I got my A+ my Junior year of high school. My biggest suggestion to you is to order some study books and go over a page or two of questions a night. This is not something you can cram for at all.
It didn’t take a lot of effort.
The only problem is that a lot of the material is contradictory or plain wrong which can be frustrating.
Manda is house-sitting!
I wanted this for so long…but now that my goals have changed, and my major has also changed…and I just don’t feel like this is a goal for me anymore, at least right now.
I think I passed the hardware portion a year or two ago. I don’t see why I’ll need this cert anytime soon so this goal is on hold. I will mark it as giving up for right now.
