Yes this has happened. And funny enough, I found out my old love, whom I thought had never returned my feelings, loves me. That was a freeing and very emotional experience, finding out after all this time. Now I am in love with someone new. Someone that loves me back as much as I love him, and shows it and tells me all the time. So not only did I accomplish this, I did doubly so. I am starting to believe in love again. Not just superficially, but whole-heartedly, less cynically. However those little lessons learned along the way still do haunt every step forward. That is most likely a good thing. 5 years ago
