I have 1460 entries in my palm pilot at last count. That includes some new additions from Amy Taylor’s book list! Can’t get em all (thoughts), but I sure have alot. And it makes it wonderful to cross reference thoughts, books, ideas, quotes, who-knows-what about what…
Oh and hundreds of pictures captured of my life as it happens. Just pull it out of my pocket and snap picture recorded.
All that and a cell phone too!

Amy don't waste a day
- list all books I’ve ever read (preferably with quotations, summaries, relevant issues raised, and topic/ connection with other books or materials) or intend to read
- list all music I’ve heard, when, and significant info
- ditto for films
- life timeline of significant events, “phases,” major activities
- keep a database of friends, acquaintances, and professional contacts including contact information, things to remember about them, date of last contact, and ongoing plans/ promises; also a list of desired and potential contacts
- list of all bank transactions
- list of life goals and estimated dates of completion (gray area on life timeline)
- list all courses taken in school, a total transcript
- internet history and library of links (del.icio.us)
- yearly summary of hours spent on particular activities/ categories of activity
- a list of skills and technical knowledge (ultimate resume)
- a travel log of completed, projected, and desired trips, both broad and very specific, down to my hang-outs and frequency of attendance
- this one’s controversial… for lack of a cleaner yet equally familiar term, a “fluid chart” of previous partners and their partners
- family tree, tracable as far back as possible, including in-laws and step-relations
- all businesses ever worked at, all contractual agreements, all schools ever attended and teachers and professors, all services exchanged and from whom
- hospital records
- all items bought or sold
