it’s been a while since i’m humming about it… not only thinking about traveling but to actually live there. everything i read about it, the music, the photographs, everything makes me want to just get on a plane and move out.

Europe 14 months ago

i always wanted to go outside my country but never got the chance (nor the money) to do so. now that i grew up, i decided to work hard, save some money and travel by myself.
the tricky part of that, is to chose wisely. i’m limiting myself to a territory where the official language is english (besides my own idiom, this is the one i can efficiently communicate – my spanish and my french would probably make me starve). it would be a perfect opportunity to practice what i’ve learnd so far.
so, according to Google, there are 55 countries. i’m interested in only 6 of them.
North America – i wouldn’t go to the United States. no offense but, in general, i’m not much attracted to the place. plus, everybody says that’s hard to get a passport. i won’t even bother. i thought about Canada but if i’m supposed to go far away from home, i should do it properly: go to a place that i always wanted to!
i’m very interested in Europe. i would love to see France, Spain, Portugal and Italy… i’m sticking with The United Kingdom (when i was a teenager i wanted to be an exchange student there).
the place is huge, beautiful and breathes art and history. that ought to be perfect for me.

So awesome to experience other cultures! 22 months ago

I’ve been to Canada, Mexico, France (if you count the fact that I spent about 8 hours at the airport there!), Italy, Switzerland and Texas. Ok, so Texas is really a state – but their slogan is, “Texas, a whole nother country” – and it’s true :-)

Travel not only exposes you to other cultures, cool sites and yummy foods, it also teaches you to think on your feet, deal with minor (or major) crisis, plan ahead, enjoy unplanned surprises and to open your mind and heart.

been to Paris 2 years ago

I spent a week in Paris but my next goal is to spend a summer in southern France. I like seeing other cultures and ways of life because it broadens my viewpoint and reminds me there a lots of ways to live and none of them are “right.”

The world is a huge place. I have a beautiful country..but it would be so sad if I never get to go anywhere beyond these 7,107 islands.
