a small town in the Shenandoah Valley.
The Sahara – I’m not sand friendly unless it comes with a tide and a cheap pail/shovel combo from the local tourist shop.
Antartica – could get same experience going into a walk-in freezer, however that would be cheaper and shorter.
The Mekong Delta, Viet Nam – I’m too tall to assimilate, my guide would make fun of me the entire time. Could get same experience at any local elementary school playground.
Red Rock Country, Sedona, Arizona – Been there and really, wouldn’t give up a day in my life to go back. If you’ve ever thought of going there, a cheaper alternative is go to Target, get sunglasses and paint them with red water colors. Now go to the quarry or Home Depot and look at the rocks. That’s it. Throw is a couple of local wacky people (easily available at either store above) and there you are.
Roswell, New Mexico – I just don’t get it.

I would not want to visit, even if visiting there gave me another week of life.
South East Asia – Mekong Delta 511-512 – likely, too smelly.
Pacific Islands – Headhunter trail p. 487-488 – taking no chances
Europe – Wales – Plas B odegroes – 62 p. hard to pronounce AND bad food.
Africa – Skeleton Coast – p. 375 lots of nothing there. You can get that anywhere.
South Asia: Jaljale Himal p. 457 too many stairs.
South America – Lake Titicaca p. 842 – I just don’t like the snickering.
North America – Mesa Verde – cause it’s their claim to fame.http://www.mesaverdecountry.com/tourism/1000places.html
