Me and my family went there a few years ago and we stayed there for almost three years..i miss it there specially my friends..i’d love to go back there someday..
How I did it: I worked all summer long until I had the monies, and then I bought a ticket. It was ridiculously expensive, but so worth it. You have to buy it quite far in advance, but that's okay too I guess :)
Lessons & tips: STA Travel was a good choice, they have good deals for students. Other than that, booking half a year early was a really really good idea too ^^
Resources: Parents :) trust fund, getting a job, STA Travel.

I need to return to my land of permanent residency. My friend from university is getting married in Hamner Springs next year, so that will probably be my next opportunity. Need to start saving now, then!
I had the opportunity to visit some family in the Golden Bay area of New Zealand in 2005. It is easily the most beautiful place I’ve ever been. I had such an amazing time, traveling around the South island – I can’t wait to go back and bring Matt and Evelyn.
We went back in 03and only had 1 week. Would like to go back for at least 3 weeks and see more.
we came home for 4 months to have our baby in a safe, beautiful place and now i never want to leave. Unfortunately we’re booked on a flight back to the States in January and I know I am going to miss NZ every day we’re away.

but i will visit in the next 5 years
...and take my wife with me! I went to NZ in 2003 for a ski trip and it was pretty special. I’d like to go back and explore the South Island more thoroughly – see the west coast, wander through Christchurch, maybe drop in at Dunedin, and most importantly, see the Remarkables mountain range again.
