i want to get more traffic for my blog

I’ve been working on the net for some time now and traffic is really what its all about. As we all know with out people seeing your site you go no where! No sales! If you are trying to market something that will be the death of your business. You may have the best product and it could be a huge seller..but.. if no one can see it, it wont sell. There are many ways to get your traffic. Submissions to search engines, Free or paid. Theres linking to others, Free online classified, paid classifieds, safelists and the list goes on. Then you have to know about SEO’s and other computer gobli-gook. It would also be in your best interest to know a bit about marketing and sales. How well do you do public relations. Do you want to be in the front of the line or hidden and just make sales without getting to know your customers? I have done most of the mistakes that there is as far as net marketing goes. I’ve found you have to do your homework. See whats selling and whats not and go from there. Alot depends on just how much money you want to put out to get your blog or site out in front or at least in the running. I found that it really pays off to check out some top sellers that are willing to share there ideas as to how they made their sites a success. I really like Steve Pavlina. I like his no nonsense attitude and how to go about improving your blog or site. A bit of advice from me to you.. google his name and check out what he has to say. Your learn alot from the man, I have. Rememeber nothing ventured nothing gained. You will get what you put out. The harder you work at it and the more you study and gain insights on new ways to get more traffic the faster your make the money you so deserve. So . . . . let me rephrase that. . . . . After I learn how to build my own website, then I want to learn how to bring more and more traffic to it.

I am now in the process of starting up a home base arts and crafts business. I don’t have a clue as to how I to market the dolls that I am making, but where there’s a will there’s a way. I would love to hear a few sucess stories from some of you that been there . . . done that. Maybe a few do’s and don’ts perhaps. I need all the encouragement I can get right now.
