learn to speak French and Spanish

I am going to be going to my 1st year of college in September, I going to be doing eneral Arts for a year but after that I am going to university and I want to major in somethign along the lines of International Development Studies or International Relations. I want to help people, the less fortunate in particular. I want to be able to communicate with the people I help but i know that I can’t learn every language…but I can atleast know 3 language spoken in most counteries…English, French and Spanish. Arabic is also another one but I am going to to foucs on Frnch and Spanish for now. I already can speak Enligh fluenty i am not bad at French but I have forgotten alot of it since I stopped taking in in the 10th grade. And I have never learned Spanish. I realize that I would have a translator to the countries I go to, but I think it would be agood experience to learn them anyways.

I took Spanish in high school, and was fairly mediocre… Ive forgotten most things I had learned, aside from knowing how to say “I’ve got mad cow disease.”
