Today at work.. -> stress =/
Some stuff I have to remember during work:
- BREATH (!!!)
- (try to) relax

How I did it: My job had become a nightmare. Every day, I was thrown more politics and executive BS. Every day was less time for creative work, a less optimistic team, and more stress. At night, I dreamed about the design problems and woke up with a headache from grinding my teeth. My boss was a powerless yes-man, and her boss was an ass-kissing exec who couldn't make a decision without first assembling a committee. They changed their goals every other… Read how I did it…

And at times, if I were to relax any more, my heart would stop beating.
Mission Accomplished! My stress levels have greatly decreased!
After some BIG changes in my life, my goal is now to relax more regulary! That means to me: enjoy nature more and forget about anything there. So I can handle daily things more positive.

I really need to put this goal into pratice especially since school is about to start and I tend to get really nervouse at the begining of the semester. I was thinking about taking a bubble bath with some lavender oil. That sound relaxing.

There is no sense in focusing on something when u dont have the means nor the power to do anything about it in that moment. Therefore, I dont stress about work after I leave the bldg and I dont stress about home when I leave the house but I do make sure I give my full undivided attention to those things while Im there so I wont miss anything.

I actually am sitting down at my computer in my bedroom and only thinking about typing this very thing. I watched an internet special that Oprah did on Eckert Tolley’s new book and I finally had my first moment in the present. I am aware of the sound of my fingers hitting the keys and I am focusing on that. I should practice being present more often, its very relaxing and centering. I really should probably buy his book too. Its going on the list!

I find myself often worrying about things beyond my control, or getting wrapped up in day to day life and forgetting to stop and enjoy life. Ishould go away a and spent some time by a lake just sit in the sun and do nothing. This isn’t hard, I should do this more often. Screw being in debt, or everyday stresses…life is about enjoying.
There is something about hot tea that helps me relax…especially if I drink it in a fancy tea cup.
