Not have a job

If the point of life is to work, make money and babies… I want out. I feel like I should be expiencing life for what life really is. I want to get out there and enjoy the world!!

I quit my job, and I’m now working as a freelance developer. Just started out, but I’m being offered loads of work. It’s so easy if you have confidence in your abilities and you know how to network. I’d recommend joining something LinkedIn.com as well, to grow your contacts – you’ll need them to get recommendations and work.

yeah, the best thing ever…i never work summers anyway, but now i don’t have a job at all and it’s great…do it :)

Tina, how did you manage to survive without having a job?

I got laid off last year and haven’t been able to find work since. So I went back to school and am pursuing a long-time dream of mine that I’ve never had the courage to pursue before. I love it. Not having a paycheck is a bummer, though.

I’m back in grad school with a fellowship, so I’m free of a job! Woo!
