grow my hair

I’d love longer hair. But I tend to pull it when I am stressed or bored or procrastinating. But i am determined and it’s growing.

Told myself i wouldnt cut my hair til my birthday since my really short do. managed to keep the faith and now its getting there, but seems to have ground to a halt. gunna wait it out til xmas now, not even gunna trim the back, then get my really good asymetric hairstyle back! woo!

i really want to have long hair. I wonder how long its going to take? Iv been wearing my hair really really short / shaved for years. I think its time to stop.

Was the chorus that greeted me the other night. I finally have midlenght sort of hair rather than “is that a dude?” length hair.

I cut off my near elbow length hair to my chin…

It felt liberating at first, but then I got bored, so I had it cut short at the back, then cut short on one side and kept longer on the other…

I eventually decided I looked like a boy so am now in the long process of growing it out, it’s mostly all one length now just below my chin, I can’t wait for it to hit my shoulders.

In January I cut my hair to a short pixie and a few months later decided to grow it back. My ultimate goal is waste length but I know that will take a few years. Right now my hair is about chin length (longest layer) with shorter layers all over. I recently was able to put my hair into mini pigtails (yay!) and my next goal is to pull it all back into a ponytail. Once that happens I will be able to pick it up, forget about it, and just let it growww….

I used to have long hair throughout high school but cut it to mid-length just before graduation. Four years later, I miss my long hair and would really like to grow it again, waist length at least.
