I had a breakdown back in June 2007 where i, ‘did at Britney’ so to speak and cut my hair off. (Cut, not shaved. [Thank God.])
Its now July 2009 and its ALMOST passed my shoulders!
Ive been taking alot of vitamins as well as getting myself back on track mentally since my breakdown.
Im hoping to grow it down to my collarbones. Once its there i shall post pictures!! Smiles

Growing my hair is tricky. It’s very thick and heavy and I tend to get near shoulder length and thenn have it all cut off again…
It’s getting towards chin length now and this is the longest it’s been for 10 years.

I cut most of the processed ends off. I think what’s left is healthier, thicker hair. The lack of chemicals should be a good thing in terms of hair growth.

lnm2390 is horrified by what some people on 43things think about weight loss!
On new year’s eve, I got my hair cut very very short, and IMMEDIATELY regretted it. So, my goal is to grow it out for a year (since I have a very easy to remember starting point). Six month later, my hair finally looks alright, not great, but much better than its been, heres to six more months!! AH!! The picture is the beginning, My profile image is me now.

I want hair down to my hips. I just love long hair. There’s a girl at my school with about tailbone length hair, it’s very inspiring and reminds me every day to just keep going and not cut =)
Right now my hair is about bra strap length, I started out a year ago with about shoulderlength.
Happy growing^^

Hahaha…I have no idea if my title makes sense. Growing my hair long is something I’ve told myself several times I would do (for an indefinite length of time) but somehow I always ended up getting frustrated and cutting it short again (I cut my own hair so it’s pretty much a few minutes between decision and the actual thing happening).
This time it’s different. I figured when I get old I’m not going to look good with long hair (which old person does!?) so I should do it now when I have the opportunity. In trying to take some measure of prevention against me impulsively giving up and cutting it, I chose a date in the future to work towards. I wrote in my journal, “I’m not cutting (except for the occasional 1/2” trimming) my hair until March 22nd 2010”. I wrote that in September 2008. So a full 18 months!
So far it’s been great, and I only trimmed it once (in February), and plan to trim it in July. I’ll let you know how it goes :)
