master PHP and MySQL

I’ve been beginning to write applications for the new web. I also continue to research and read up on ways to make the two easier to work with, including frameworks!

I’m willing to help people with this! There is a lot of really bad habits ascociated with PHP because of the large newbie population. I had to learn most things the hard way.

I’m also leaning towards becoming an anti-MySQL zealot. Postgres (and SQLite) are much better alternatives. Ask me why.

With the PHP/MySQL conversion at full steam it is getting easier and easier to pick up the language. So far MySQL is proving to be an exercise in RTFM. PHP is just a hair harder to learn.

Am busy doing it… learning a lot on the internet and taking eveningclasses to. This week it was my 3th lesson. I’m a quick learner, and now got a book to.. I hope to master it verry soon.
