I am wondering if anybody out there would have any idea on how I can find funding to attend a music college. I am suppose to be going into my second year at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, England. My parents took out a massive loan to pay for the first year, but I haven’t been able to find anything to help me with this coming academic year. I am an American Undergraduate and as such it is very hard to find financial funding. Would anybody out there know of anyways I can get some help with this???
Thanks ever so much.
Aubrey
My friend went to interlochen school of the arts this year, and she has improved amazingly! it’s a great inspiration to my musical excellence.
I love playing jazz music.
I’m a sophomore in HS currently, and I really want to go to a music school as soon as possible, but I’m shooting for my senior year. I play the tenor saxophone, and a little piano, guitar, and i’m learning the flute, so I think I could definitely benefit.
does anyone know of any good music highschools?
Music school has its ups and downs.
Practicing becomes an obligatory chore, and required music theory classes are generally despised. I’ve only been in college for a semester, but music school has changed music from passion to profession, and I can’t say I appreciate that. I won’t deny that I’ve learned a lot, but I’m not sure it’s entirely worth it if you aren’t 100% sure that you are going to devote your life to the impoverished arts (not to say I’m considering teaching English for the money…)
