Help Irene find a new home for the orphaned cat

not all that much fun..but done. Hopefully the kitty will have a chance at a new start.

My senior citizen friend has a soft heart. Her neighbor is at death’s door, so Irene took the neighbor’s cat. Trouble is, Irene’s cat is not taking to the idea at all and the “new” cat stays under the bed and has litter box issues.

Yesterday Irene and I went to the Humane Society to get an appointment (it is for Tuesday). The plan is to give them the new cat so that Irene’s life can go back to normal. We agreed to pay the extra $45.00 “do not euthanize” fee. If the cat doesn’t get adopted, we get called back to figure something else out. Seems reasonable!
