tidy my room

Really the way I can’t even see my floor lately has become something rather disgusting, but the thought of bothering to cleaning it seems too tedious. I need to sort through old clothes and donate them to people who will actually wear them and put my beloved books in a spot better then underneath a pile of clothes that were once considered ‘clean’.

been away alot, got home and have unpacked onto the floor! haha

i have STARTED to tidy up but when i tidy i have to go all out and declutted and scub and clean, i go mental… no wonder i cant keep it up

anyway so far i have 4bags to go to the charity shop
1 bag of recycling
2 bags of litter

and im noway near done!

Wow…It feels way nicer in here now it is tidy…

It took longer than intended, because of the years of previous ‘fake’ tidying that had to be undone (you know, when you stuff things into a corner or a draw and forget about them…lol)

So now, the next thing for me to do is to get rid of the closet, and replace it with some wall-mounted shelves and a rack to put my clothes on.

TOP TIP! When you’re tidying, have a bin-liner on hand to chuck out all the rubbish…I filled one up to the top. ALSO, when you get stuck on a certain point in the room, go listen to some music or something, and whe you come back, the work will almost certainly seem less time consuming than it looked.

a wunnerful guyz coming to relieve me of the old gym equipment which will contribute greatly to a relatively dustfree environment – is quite allergic

Will I manage to keep it tidy?

It doesn’t take long… I don’t have that big a room, so I was done within a half hour or so.

It just annoys me when I do tidy it, and the next day everything is a mess again! I’m hopeless at keeping my room tidy, once I’ve spent the time clearing things up. Maybe this time I can work harder at keeping my room tidy!

To do:

• Tidy and organise wardrobe
• Get rid of any clutter I no longer need. Give some of it to charity.
• Organise drawers
• Sort out clothes
• Tidy floor
• Organise desk

I can’t stand living in a dump. My room is a tip, and as I spend most of my time in it, I should really devote a little time to keeping it ‘live-able’.

My aim is to have it tidied by tonight so I can work in a good environment over the weekend!
