I got a new wardrobe today. It should help conceal some of the clutter I have – namely all the clothes that currently have no home, scattered across my sofa, and hanging on an unsightly rail. Should get cracking on building it soon.

How I did it: i bit the bullet and just got up and did it I realised no one else would do it for me and no matter how long I left the mess there for it was going to remain there until I cleaned it up. I focussed on easy things to put away first and continued on from there. Read how I did it…

How I did it: Well. The most important part was that I threw out everything out of my drawers, shelves and wardrobe - right on the floor. Then I selected things which are okay and put them back to where they should be. The rest of those things I threw out: including tickets, old papers, not working lighters, boxes, notes, pictures and all the rubbish I didn't actually need. Well, okay, some of it I didn't have heart to throw away. But it doesn't take t… Read how I did it…

I am about to move out of my Mum and Dad’s house to go and live in my very own house!! With a boy!! I’m very excited, but also a little bit sad that I will never have my OWN room again… from now on, I will be sharing a room. It won’t be “Chloe’s Bedroom”, it’s “Chloe and Neil’s Bedroom.”
Now that I am finally leaving my little room, I sort of want to take care of it before I go. Sort of like… a last hurrah! I want to spend some time in it being tidy and peaceful… calm and de-cluttered!

LKA in bed all day with the west wing woop woop
For the last 2 years my room has been pretty tidy, not perfect housewife tidy but tidy enough to walk! Pre 2 years ago it was a permanent pigsty!
The last 10 days have been terrible, a close family friend finally lost his battle with a brain tumr and died aged 32, that hit me hard, and I have been crying on and off for a week. Then the on going arguments with my mother and her partner came to a head the night before last when, me and sister ended up getting involved. He slagged off my sister, walked out, she followed and he turned round and looked like he was about to attack her. She screamed my mother saw it, all hell let loose and we went to stay at my uncles with my mother!
We are back now, he is still a twat, and thanks to my mental state being in a far away place I have let my room turn into a bomb site.
I know it wont take long, I just need to put on some tunes and get on with it! Wish me luck!
I really should have done this a long time ago, but I don’t have many places to put things in.
I will have to buy a few new sets of drawers. :)
Then I will make sure my room is tidy, then I can FINALLY paint my walls, they’re still white textured wallpaper and it just looks terrible.
xXmusetteXx is getting a job XD
the plan is:
1) sort through my GCSE stuff, put into boxes/throw away
2) sort through the junk just lying round my room
3) find places for all the junk i want to keep, and to do this i may have to…
4) sort through the stuff in boxes and drawers and get ruthless and have to throw stuff out :whimper: (i horde stuuf :$)
5) sort throught ornaments and get rid of ones given by relatives who still think im 5 and like faries (which are sad, unlike faeries, which are cool lol- theres a big difference)
6) sort throught clothes and throw out stuff that is (a) too small (b) too big© hideous (d) old and too worn
7) admire space and suddenly large room
8) clear pin board and put up stuff actually needed now (ie no year7 timetable)
9) sort through 5 million pen pots and notebooks on desk and only keep ones actually working (pens) or needed (notebooks)
10) sort through books and put ones suitable for 11 y/os on landing bookshelf. take those suitable for 5 y/os off landing bookshelf and into box in roof
11) persuade mother to help take glass of desk and put some of my 300 postcards under it
12) tack other postcards to wardrobe door/ anywhere else
13) put away birthday and xmas presents from 6 months ago
14) check nothing else needs doing
15) sleep for a month
