As I don’t know anything about graffiting or stencil making I’ve made a plan! I’ve got sheets of sticky paper! I’m going to draw/wright whatever it is, cut it out and stick it somewhere whilst nobody’s looking!

at the risk of sounding like a total toy, I’m going to ask for advice. i’ve always been into art and i love to make cool stencils, love throwing them up on a clean white wall. my style is very boxy, kind of aztec like some graffers ive seen in sao paulo, but my IDOL is ethos. so i make sure all of my art has meaning just like gallery stuff. but i need to learn some inside tips, just to get me away from my toy-ness.

I’ve been doing a lot of stenciling on fabrics/clothes as of late. I’d really like to take it to the streets.
I completed this print a month or so ago. It needs to be cleaned up a bit, but there’s this amazing spot that just NEEDS to have it. I need to stop being a wimp and just do it already.

I love the scale of this. Wouldn’t it be great to make something this huge? Something people just wake up to in the morning, as if aliens came in the night with a surreal Trojan horse?

I’ve been thinking of making one of these Super Mario power-up blocks. Probably because I’m such a Nintendo kid.

I know it’s taking someone else’s idea but my own aren’t coming quickly and it would give me a little project. The annoying thing is, I used to have a shiny cube that would have been perfect.

then i might be brave enough to do something with them

i did a big display on the side of an abandoned building that went along with the ‘You Are Beautiful’ Camapaign. I wish i had a picture but it got taken down befor ei could get one. It consisted of a series plywood graffitied and airbrushed with the words ‘You are Beautiful’ and then a couple random inspiring poems around the edges in script.

last night i hung a giant paper chain in the street
im hoping it made someone smile
it looked very pretty
