So apparently you can’t really litter box train them.
You can only litter train animals that naturally hide their poop.
Or so I’m told.
This is an obstacle.

I know this goal might not intend to mean literal “adoption” but, I have wanted to have a penguin as a pet for quite a while now
but not one of those Antarctic Emperor penguins, one of the little Galapagos penguins (see picture)
I have no idea the laws regarding this sort of thing.
But I am pretty confident that i could litter box train it.
Now what to do about the smell.
i love a the penguins just like i love a the puffins. they make me amile. i want to own one and name him Alfred and carry him around in a little red wagon. Everyone should have a penguin.
Yeah, i spelled that right, cuz that is what i call them. They are my fav. animal (besides cats) and I want to adopt one so bad. They are adorable and I want to help the penguin population survive:) Go Penguins!
Cute and cuddley, boys, cute and cuddley.
The Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago has an animal adoption program for a variety of animals, including two varieties of penguin (the king penguin and the rockhopper). You don’t get to actually keep the penguin, but your money does go toward helping out the zoo.
