I have always dreamed of visiting Jordan. i a msure it will happen soon! I almost travelled to Jordan in 2008 but things didn’t fall into place and most of my travel plans in 2008 got shelved. i hope 2009 would be different.
The Jordan in my mind is basically Petra and the Dead Sea but I will definitely try to go around.
I will also try to enjoy local Toastmasters Club in Jordan. ;)

While it isn’t the only thing to see in Jordan, Petra was certainly a highlight. And now it has been acclaimed one of the Seven Wonders of the World. See our photos at http://www.angelfire.com/nt/theology/pic/petra.html

If you visit Jordan you have to swim in the dead sea.. I went to visit a friend and we skipped most of the other tourist things, but be sure you do this.

I’ve been to Jordan many times! I use to work there as a tour guide. I’ve been all over the country, missed the castles in the north though, and would be happy to help answer any questions about this amazing place!
