get paid to sing jazz

I’m not a music major or an aspiring professional singer, but I loooove jazz. Especially vocal jazz. A lot of Ella Fitzgerald songs suit my voice really well.

I can’t see myself making my entire living off of jazz singing alone, but I think a job with a band would be a fun part-time job to help me cover some expenses.

Sadly, there aren’t very many places that play jazz on a regular basis. In the San Jose area, anyway.
