I go to school in a small town in the middle of the mountains. It’s beautiful and great, but the basic span of activities are drinking, shopping, and eating—not exactly 17 year-old, budget-concious college kid friendly. It’s really the kind of place where you have to make your own fun. I didn’t take as much from it as I could’ve last year, so this year I’m really going to milk it—hiking, biking, waterfall diving, just name it.

After spending 5 months in Europe, I find Hawaii very boring. Oh wait, I’ve always found Hawaii boring – I was born and raised here :p. But my friends and I, those who I met from my program (also from Hawaii), have decided that we will make our own adventures.
I went as far as buying a guidebook for Honolulu and Oahu and I am going to explore this island as much as I can before I move in 3 months. I am eager to do that :). I’m tired of tourists seeing more of this place than I have in 22 years. I can’t wait to try out the yummy restaurants and stuff.
