I’ll try for the easier eat organic first
sarcasticbarbie31 sitting at home.
I live at home so I cannot convice my parents to spend the extra money on only organic food, but I am getting them to slowly convert a few things. I made a lental soup today in which the lentals and the dried herbs were organic, but the onions, carrots, and garlic were not. I can say (proudly) that I have gotten my family to convert to sea salt completly :).

Tonight I made a beet soup with carrots, onions, celery, and chicken stock. Everything except for the celery, the bay leaves, the dill, and the salt was organic. The soup is excellent!
Yes, it’s quite possible. I shop around for the best deal. High quality meats can be had cheaply when they’re about to expire (they reduce the price upon expiration, but really the meat is still good. Of course, we all know the best diet is no meat, but it’s a start!).
Here is where I shop so far:Next would be local farmer’s market meets – I haven’t tried those but I’m looking forward to it.
As for Why am I doing this? Well, organic food tastes better; and it’s food the way it’s supposed to be.
