DarkDog is surprised December is here.
To prepare properly for watching the final episode I had made sure I couldn’t be interrupted and then baked some cookies :)
I liked it, it was nice. It was a definite ending, although I wish they had answered more.
It’ll be fun now to read the message boards and see what everyone thought !
What a ride this was. In a way it was a good thing, that I came so late to this due to my resistance to the “re-imagined” thing. I’m sure I experienced the story much more intensely by watching it over the course of almost exactly one year.
Will the future bring more shows, that are consistently high quality and don’t treat the viewers as dumb ? Probably not – but now there’s a glimmer of hope that it can happen once in a while.

Yesterday I watched the penultimate episode of the series. How far they’ve come ! Can’t wait to see how in the world they can bring this all to a conclusion, even if the last one is double-sized. Well, soon I’ll know…

I already watched half the remaining episodes. But I’m certainly enjoying the ride :)
The previous episodes were intense and the last one I saw left me speechless. It’ll be a happy and sad day when I watch the last one !

DarkDog is surprised December is here.
I have now decided not to wait until the DVDs for the remaining episodes come out.
The reason for this is that is getting increasingly harder to avoid spoilers, they start popping up in the most unlikely places. Plus I plan to go to a Sci-Fi convention fairly soon, where several BSG actors will be present. There’s no way I can avoid getting spoilered there.
So, I have just watched the Webisodes that link the first half and the second half of the final season and starting tomorrow I will start watching the first proper new episode through one of the online options.
That’ll be fun :)

I dimly recall something about some official “webisodes” linking season 4.0 with the final half. I guess I better start looking for those !

DarkDog is surprised December is here.
I just finished watching my half-season box of this final season. Without dropping too much of a spoiler, I have one word for the ending: Oops ;)
As far as I know, there’s not even a date yet for the DVDs with the second half of the season, the end of the series, as they’ve apparently only just started being shown on TV. I don’t think I’ll like the upcoming wait…

I just watched two more episodes. My reaction: Whoa…
Unfortunately that means next will already be the last disc of this half-season set.

DarkDog is surprised December is here.
4th episode
has been watched, which means the first of three DVDs of this half-season box are gone already…
I’ve been able to watch one episode every second day and read my book every other day. This has worked out well so far.
Coming back to BSG, and I’ve touched on this before, it’s funny how I always wonder in the first couple of minutes of an episode if I’ll be able to get back “into it” and by the end I’m usually just sitting there going “Wow…” :)
